Reavis Belin: Industrial Tech, Math, SA Boys' Club Sponsor

Mr. Belin is in his 31st, yes, 31st year, at CAA.  Not only does he teach math and IT classes, but he also helps sponsor the Student Association (SA), specifically the Boys' Club. His interests include rebuilding/restoring old vehicles and riding his motorcycle. 
Sharman Bowes: Alternative Learning, Consumer Math

Sharman Bowes is the director of the Alternative Learning Center, for the 5th year, here at CAA. She teaches Consumer Math class. She and her husband Rick (senior pastor of the Meadow Glade Church) have two married children.
 
Matthew Butte: Principal

Matthew Butte is the Principal (aka Headmaster) of CAA. He has a B.A. in Theology from Newbold College, a PGCE in Religious Education from King's College, London, and an M.Ed from Boston College. This is his 14th year at CAA and away from his home country of Great Britain. Matthew's interests include philosophy, reading, running and cycling with his "comrades", although three young children prevent any of those from happening to excess!

Susan Byers: Band, English, SA Girls' Club Sponsor

Susan Byers is in her ninth year at CAA (and MGES) teaching English, three bands and instrument music lessons. She is an SA Sponsor as well and enjoys all the creativity her job and extra duties require. She and her husband Scott have a seven-year-old daughter named Cami.

Tami Congleton: Business Office Assistant, Custodial

Tami has worked in the Business Office for twelve years. She also supervises the custodial student workers after school. She has two grown sons, Travis and Trevor, who graduated from Columbia. Tami enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her voice is often the friendly voice that greets you when you call the school.

This is Julie's first year working at CAA, and we are glad to have her helping us out. She graduated from CAA 6 years ago and is glad to be back.Her interests are in the areas of running, reading, music, traveling, and volunteering at the Humane Society.
Debbie Hendrickson: Vice-Principal, Admin. Asst., Registrar, Keyboarding/Computer Literacy, Academic Counseling and Senior Class Sponsor

She is in her 15th year at CAA. Mrs. Hendrickson loves to read, shop, camp, and be with family. Mrs. Hendrickson and her husband have two sons who are CAA alumni. One works for WASHDOT as a civil engineer and the other is currently attending Walla Walla University.

Larry Hiday: Science, Development/Alumni Officer, Senior Class Co-Sponsor  HidaLa@CAAschool.org 
Mr. Hiday is experiencing his fourth year of teaching at CAA. He teaches biology, chemistry, and hopes to teach photography second semester. He also co-sponsors the Class of 2010 with Debbie Hendrickson. He enjoys photography, traveling, cycling, reading and most outdoor activities. He loves his God, his wife, Cindy, his  married kids (all four) and the students and staff at CAA.  

Lynn Horsch: Maintenance

A CAA alum, this is Lynn's 10th year here at CAA. He is married and has two adult children. He enjoys working with our student workers. Lynn's expertise and hard work are noticed and appreciated all across our campus.
Greg Hurlbert: Mathematics & Physical Sciences

This is his second year at CAA as a teacher, but Greg spent several years here and graduated as an alumnus. His sense of humor in the classroom is evident in Physical Science, Physics, Algebra II, and PreCalculus. He is also the sponsor of the class of 2011. His interests include indoor soccer and fantasy football, among others.
Keith Kerbs: Bible, History

This is Mr. Kerbs 6th year at CAA. He teaches Bible and History and is also the sponsor of the class of 2012. He is married with three children. He enjoys cycling, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, playing guitar, and having students over for sweet rolls.
   
Debbie Morauske: Business Office Assistant

This is Mrs. Morauske's 8th year at CAA.  She works part-time in the business office and is the other friendly voice that may greet you when you call.  She is the proud mother of a son and daughter who both graduated from CAA and are now away at college.

Virlys Moller: English, Social Studies, Knowledge Bowl Sponsor

Mrs. Moller, in her 18th year at CAA, explores the world with her Global Studies students who are primarily sophomores, English III to the juniors, and enjoys preparing seniors for the challenges of college writing in her English IV and Advanced Placement English courses. Mrs. Moller's husband, Steffen, works as an adminstrator at Clackamas Community College and she is mom to a grown son and daughter. For fun she enjoys reading (of course), gardening, and decorative painting.
Jay Pierce: Athletics Director

Jay Pierce is in his third year at CAA. He graduated from MGES in 1984 and CAA in 1988. His wife is also a graduate of CAA. Together they have two children. Jay says of his free time: "When I [had it], I would golf and fish. Now almost all of my time is spent playing with and reading to my kids, Logan and Luke."
Ed Tillotson: School Counselor, Learning Resource Specialist

This is his 16th year at CAA. Mr. Tillotson is the school Guidance Counselor and Media Specialist. Mr. Tillotson's wife is a nurse. They have two grown daughters and a three-year old granddaughter. He teaches Art, Washington State History, and sponsors the SA Senate.

Marién Vera: Spanish, Yearbook

Marién Vera is a graduate of Walla Walla College, now Walla Walla University.  She graduated with a degree in Spanish & Secondary Education.  She purchased a 1920’s home in Uptown Vancouver which she enjoys refurbishing.  She also enjoys spending time with her children Cristian and Adrián and husband Cameron.

Nita Yuros: Choir, Handbells

Nita Yuros teaches choir and handbells at CAA. This is her 9th year teaching music at both MG and CAA. She and her husband have a daughter and a son who attend WWU - both are CAA alumni. Presently she is enrolled in graduate school (and will graduate in April!), prizes precious time with family and friends and makes time for Nordic Walking - her latest fitness endeavor.
