CAA is offers three types of
High School Diploma: |
|
1. General High School Diploma
In this option students are required to complete the core courses of our curriculum
2. Vocational Diploma
This Diploma is offered in partnership with the Clark County Skills Center and allows students to undergo vocational training in an area of their interest.
3. College Prep Diploma
While all three Diploma prepare students for further education, the College Prep Diploma in particular prepares students for undergraduate studies. This Diploma therefore requires additional course in mathematics, science, and at least two years of a foreign language studies.
In addition to our core curriculum CAA also offers a variety of electives, including:
Music (choir, band, handbells)
Art
Computer Applications
Accounting
Leisure Time Activities
Technology
Computer Programming

| Based upon our philosophy of educating the whole person, teachers at CAA use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments methods such as projects, presentations, and hands on learning, in addition to conventional techniques. |
