  • What is SEL?

    Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

    SEL enhances students’ capacity to integrate skills, attitudes, and behaviors to deal effectively and ethically with daily tasks and challenges. Five competencies serve as the framework for SEL at CAA: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.

  • Apply Online

    New students can apply online. 

    1. To get started create a new RenWeb Application Account by visiting https://tinyurl.com/New-caa-account
    2.  
    3. Once your new RenWeb Account has been created you will receive a verification email (It could take up to 20 minutes to receive your verification email).

    5. Follow the link in the verification email.

      2. Enter your username and password to login to your account.
      3.  
      4. Once you have logged in click on “Create a New Student Application”
        1. Follow the steps through the entire application process.
        2. You can save your application and return to it at any time.

    7. Once your application is complete you will be directed to submit your application and application fee.
  • Financial Aid

    Financial Aid

    CAA awards financial aid based on an individual family’s financial need. To asses financial need we ask that all families complete a financial aid application through our partner – FACTS.  To begin the financial aid process please complete the steps below.

    1. Visit https://online.factsmgt.com/aid

      1. If you have never applied for financial aid through FACTS you will need to create a new account.

      3. Once you have logged in please complete the process as prompted.
      4.  
      5. Make sure you indicate that you are requesting aid from Columbia Adventist Academy, Battle Ground, WA.
        1. NOTE: If you have already applied for financial aid at Meadow Glade Adventist Academy for the 2018-2019 school year you will not need to reapply for aid at Columbia Adventist Academy. You can simply edit your existing information in FACTS and indicate you would like to also apply for aid at CAA.

      7. FACTS Tuition Aid charges a $35 application fee to process your application. If you have already applied for aid at another school for the 2018-2019 school year you will NOT be charged for the addition of CAA to your aid application.

      9. Once your application has been completed a representative from CAA will call to schedule an appointment to review your eligibility for financial aid.
